Socks and Shoes

Norah's new thing is trying to put her own socks on.  She has long been amused by her own socks.  She likes to play with them, wave them around, carry them with her, etc.  However, it's only been recently that she has actually been trying to put them on.  She can't do it yet, but she definitely has the right idea.  Also, she understands "Sit down and take off your shoes."  When we get home we tell her to sit down and take off her shoes and she tries.  She can undo the velcro, but she can't pull the shoe off entirely on her own yet.  Lastly, while on the topic of socks and shoes, she loves the book "Put On Your Shoes" by Dan Stiles.  Auntie Jillian gave her this book, and when the little girl in the book says "No" Norah turns her head back and forth from left to right for additional effect.  Luckily, she doesn't mind putting on her own shoes or taking them off!
