We really love our baby monitor. We got the Motorola MBP36. We spent a little more than maybe we should have, but we've found the video (particularly the infared night vision!) to be very helpful. The pictures and video below don't show the infared in action, but the infared provides basically a black & white video. One of the things that you'll notice is that either the monitor or the picture are upside down; we mounted the camera on the underside of a bookshelf near Norah's crib.
One of the other great features of the camera is the ability to pan and tilt, as illustrated in the video below. Not only can you monitor baby, but it also allows you to monitor a sleeping papa as well.
We hope at some point to find Norah taking a "nap" like this little rug rat below.
Whoever is doing the swaddling of Norah is awesome! She's snug as a bug and you can tell from the baby monitor vdo that she wants to get her arm out...but can't. Poor girl...but she looks super happy!
